After more than 15 years of having the traditional NOPI Nationals car show, it has finally come to an end. It left a void in the national car show calendar as car enthusiast all over the U.S. made plans to come to this show year after year. The woes of the economy have hit the car show scene as well and NOPI apparently wasn't immune from the fallout.
After many complaints from the car enthusiasts, J-Bird and his crew decided to start over and create a new tradition Motorsport Nationals. With only a few weeks of planning, the show still managed to draw a good number of competitors and spectators from all over the U.S. With a new tradition there comes a new location as well. Georgia International Convention Center is the new location for this show which means it now becomes an indoor/outdoor show.
Motorsport Nationals has brought back the ever so popular NOPI Chics to this year's bikini contest. First year winner of this bikini contest is the incredible Jada Cheng from New York. Along with the hot ladies, showing us their modeling skills, there was also an auto sound competition held in conjunction with the car show. There were also some music features from Needeep, Noush Skaugen, Eleven Standing Still, Kudzu and Attutude.
